Treasure Valley Home Depot stores to hire 225 workers

The Home Depot locations in the Treasure Valley will hire 225 workers in anticipation of spring, the home improvement store's busiest season.

The Home Depot has two locations in Boise as well as stores in Eagle, Nampa, Meridian and Eagle. All will be hiring.

The Home Depot announced plans to hire a total of 80,000 workers for the spring season at its 2,263 locations across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and U.S. territories. The chain reported sales of $74.5 billion and earnings of $4.5 billion in 2012. The store currently employes more than 300,000.
