Nampa police arrest man they say is responsible for two robberies and a burglary

Nampa police have arrested a 20-year-old resident who they say is responsible for two robberies and a burglary dating back to late December.

Kyle A. Schafer was arrested Feb. 6 on felony charges of grand theft, destruction of evidence, robbery and burglary.

According to a news release from the Nampa Police Department, the robberies took place in Nampa on Dec. 31, 2013, and Jan. 6, 2014. No details about the robberies were provided.

The burglary of a business took place Jan. 16 in Nampa.

Police credited citizen tips with leading to Schafer.
