Short videos explain housing rights for Idahoans

Boise - The Idaho StatesmanFebruary 10, 2014

The Idaho Housing and Finance Association created a series of short, animated videos online that explain some of the basic laws about housing discrimination.

The four cartoons are less than a minute and have options for English or Spanish narration. They cover fair housing basics, best practices in renting and selling homes, recognizing discrimination and reporting violations.

The videos are available to watch at fairhousingforum.com. The videos are also available at: idahohousing.com, or: http://www.idahostatesman.com/2014/02/10/3020800/short-videos-explain-housing-rights.html

"Education and outreach are the first steps toward ensuring fair and equal access to housing," association president Gerald Hunter said in a release. "These videos are valuable tools that will help build stronger communities throughout Idaho."
