Ruth's Chris Steak House open as of Monday

Boiseans will have new high-end restaurant option when Ruth's Chris Steak House opens  at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, on the ground floor of the 8th & Main building downtown.

Ruth's Chris specializes in beef entrees, wines and hand-crafted cocktails. Entrees range from $24 to $45, and appetizers range from $13 to $18. The menu features a prime porterhouse for two that includes 40 ounces of steak and costs $85.

The cocktail lounge offers $7 drinks and appetizers during happy hour from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday..

The restaurant will be open from 4:30 to 10 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, 5 til 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m.

The restaurant space is about 9,000 square feet.

Ruth's Chris has nearly 140 locations around the globe, which the company says makes it the largest upscale steak house in the world. The company is owned by Winter Park, Fla.-based Ruth's Hospitality Group, Inc., a publicly traded company that also owns Mitchell's Fish Market, Mitchell's Steakhouse and Cameron's Steakhouse.
