How Idaho Olympians fared Sunday

February 10, 2014

• Rigby High graduate Jessika Jenson, 22, finished fourth and fifth in her two semifinal runs in snowboard slopestyle Sunday. The two runs added up to a fifth-place finish in the semifinal round, and she missed qualifying for the 12-woman finals by one position. The event, which began with qualifying runs Thursday, was her Olympic debut.

• Boise High graduate Sara Studebaker finished 44th — the second-best American finish — in the women's biathlon 7.5km sprint Sunday. She was 45th in the same event at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver. The two-time Olympian is scheduled to compete in at least two more races in Sochi.
