STATESMAN STAFFFebruary 6, 2014

BOISE - Forward Brett Robinson scored two goals as Idaho defeated Utah 3-1 on Wednesday night in an ECHL hockey game at CenturyLink Arena. Luke Judson scored Idaho's other goal in his Steelheads debut. Judson was signed after playing 31 games for San Francisco this season. The Bulls ceased operations last week. Goalie Pat Nagle stopped 16-of-17 shots as Idaho (22-16-5) pulled two points ahead of Utah in the Mountain Division standings. The 17 shots allowed represent a season low. Third-place Idaho hosts second-place Colorado on Friday and Saturday nights as the Steelheads continue a six-game homestand.
