San Diego State stuns Boise State men's basketball team 67-65 (live coverage replay)

Dwayne Polee II hit a 3-pointer with 4.2 seconds left to give San Diego State a 67-65 victory at Taco Bell Arena.

Boise State had led by as many as 14 points in the second half. The Broncos took a 57-43 lead with 13 minutes, 51 seconds remaining on a banked 3-pointer by Thomas Bropleh, but could not hold the lead against No. 5 San Diego State, which won its 19th game in a row. The last six meetings between the two teams have been decided by 19 points, in which the Aztecs are 5-1.

Halftime notes: Boise State opened up with a 17-7 lead to begin Wednesday's game, and took a 42-33 halftime lead against No. 5 San Diego State. The Broncos, who had eight points in the first 13 minutes Jan. 8 at San Diego State, shot 54.8 percent (17-of-31) in the first half. Anthony Drmic had 11 points, while Derrick Marks added 10 for Boise State. The Broncos forced eight turnovers and yielded only three.

Pre-game notes: Boise State takes on No. 5 San Diego State at 7:15 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network. The Aztecs join Wyoming in 1987 (then No. 5) and Cincinnati in 1999 (then No. 3) as top-5 teams to play in Boise against the Broncos. The Broncos and Aztecs' last five meetings have been decided by a total of 17 points.
