Gus Lee Hanna has been charged with aggravated battery, a felony, according to online court records.

Nampa police say they believe Hanna, 27, stabbed another person several times during an altercation at his home. Witnesses helped identify Hanna.

According to police, the victim went to Hanna's house on Monday to confront him about an earlier incident. "Hanna and the victim got into an altercation and Hanna stabbed the victim several times," police wrote in a press release.

The victim is in stable condition at a local hospital; police did not specify which one.

Police tracked down Hanna on Tuesday in a vehicle in the 1600 block of Garrity Boulevard. They say he was arrested without incident.
