Idaho Steelheads pick up player from defunct San Francisco franchise

STATESMAN STAFFFebruary 4, 2014

— Forward Luke Judson, 22, played 22 games with the Bulls, which ceased operations last week.

The native of Emo, Ontario, has four goals and 50 penalty minutes this year, his first professional season. Prior to that, he played one season at Canada’s Lakehead University, scoring 27 points in 28 games, after a productive major junior career in the Ontario Hockey League.

Judson is expected to be available Wednesday, when the Steelheads begin a six-game homestand against the Utah Grizzlies.
