Stampede’s Jackson named to league All-Star game; Murphy earns weekly award

— Idaho point guard Pierre Jackson will play in the eighth annual NBA D-League All-Star Game on Feb. 15, part of the NBA All-Star Jam Session weekend in New Orleans. The game will air live on NBA TV at 1 p.m. Jackson leads the league in scoring with 29.1 points per game, including six different games of 40 or more points. He is sixth in the league in assists with 6.2 per game.

• Kevin Murphy was named NBADL Performer of the Week for Jan. 27 through Feb. 2. Murphy averaged 36 points on 61.6 percent shooting, 7.3 rebounds and two steals in three games, including a franchise-record and league season-high 51 points Saturday against Los Angeles.

• The Stampede are at home Tuesday night, hosting Texas at CenturyLink Arena. The game starts at 7.
