STATESMAN STAFFJanuary 29, 2014

BOISE — Idaho’s season-long series with the Santa Cruz Warriors is about to get serious. The Stampede play Santa Cruz at 7 p.m. Wednesday in CenturyLink Arena. It is the first of four straight home games for the Stampede, and the first of five meetings with Santa Cruz over the next 16 games.

Santa Cruz (15-9) leads the West Division, while Idaho (13-11) is two games back. The teams have split two previous meetings this season, with Santa Cruz winning 95-91 in California in December, and Idaho winning 119-118 in overtime in Boise on Jan. 18.
