Ada County Pet of the Week: Hershey the Shih Tzu mix

January 28, 2014

Hershey, 2, is a neutered male, brown, bichon frise and Shih Tzu mix. Hershey is a spunky, fun little dog that is sure to entertain in his new home. He loves treats and will sit and sit-pretty on command. He will guard things he values, like toys and food, so he would do best in an adult home or with older, teenaged children. He’s a smart dog that is capable of learning anything you’d like to teach him. Slightly overweight, he’s due for a healthy diet and a little more exercise. He’d make a great walking companion. Hershey’s soft hair will shed minimally, but he will require regular trips to the groomer to trim his coat.

Hershey can be found in kennel 319 (#21885717) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
