Phillips: Don't forget, winter is temporary

rphillips@idahostatesman.comJanuary 24, 2014

It may seem like it when we're cloaked in a nasty inversion, but as we head into the weekend, I made a quick trip through my photo archives to find the most summery looking shot to remind us that winter is temporary. Just gaze into the photo and think back to those hot days when a cool stream on bare legs felt as good as a warm fireplace and cozy blanket feels now.

P.S. Bonus points if you can identify the famous Idaho angler in the photo. Shoot me an email HERE and the first lucky winner will receive an Idaho Outdoors calendar. (Maybe the second, too).
