Report: New commander named to Mountain Home Air Force Base

Col. Christopher Short, the top officer at Mountain Home Air Force Base, has commanded the 366th Fighter Wing, since April of 2012.

The Mountain Home News reported Wednesdaythat Short has been selected to command the 57th Wing at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.

Earlier this month, Short was nominated for a promotion to brigadier general, according to a release from the U.S. Department of Defense.

Col. David Iverson will become the new commander at the 366th Fighter Wing, the Mountain Home News reports.
