WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — William Rapuzzi backhanded a defensive-zone turnover past Igor Bobkov at 2:38 of overtime, and Idaho rallied past the Grizzlies 4-3 at the Maverik Center on Monday afternoon. Idaho (20-14-4) rallied from three one-goal deficits to get the game to overtime. Neither team scored in the first period, but Tommy Grant (one goal in the second period) and David deKastrozza (two in the third) eventually scored for Idaho. deKastrozza turned a short-handed breakaway into a backhanded goal at the 17:48 mark of the third to tie the game and force overtime. Pat Nagle stopped 37-of-40 shots for the win, the Steelheads’ penalty kill was 5-for-5 and the power play scored once on four opportunities. Idaho returns home to host Bakersfield at 5:10 p.m. Sunday at CenturyLink Arena.
