Ada County Pet of the Week: Drusilla the domestic shorthair

January 21, 2014

Drusilla, 4, is a spayed female, black, domestic shorthair cat. Drusilla is an extra-large girl who is affectionate and loves to sit in your lap. Drusilla has been declawed on her front feet, so she will need an indoor-only, safe home. She lost her home when she did not enjoy living with small children. Drusilla would prefer a home with older, perhaps teenaged children or adults-only.

She is a chatty, interactive cat that enjoys being where people are in the home. Drusilla keeps her black coat groomed to a shiny finish.

She uses her litter box reliably and gets along well with other cats, but may tease dogs.

Drusilla can be found in kennel 1 (#21734511) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
