Boise State women’s basketball beats Utah State on the road

LOGAN — Lexie Der had her third double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Boise State rallied to beat Utah State 71-68 on Saturday night and earn its first road victory of the season.

The Broncos (8-8, 3-2 Mountain West) trailed 13-0 after missing their first 14 shots, but outscored the Aggies 30-10 the rest of the half. Keiahnna Engel sealed the victory with two free throws with 4 seconds left.

Deanna Weaver scored 12 points, including eight in the final 7 minutes and 18 seconds, and added a career-high six assists. Jennifer Schlott scored 31 for the Aggies (8-8, 2-3) on 11-of-17 shooting.
