Power restored to most Boise electric customers

January 18, 2014

Idaho Power reported 1,200 customers were without electricity late Saturday morning in an area between West Fairview Avenue south to West Franklin Road and from North Five Mile Road east to North Maple Grove Road.

The cause is unknown and 11 a.m. Idaho Power had crews responding to the area to determine the cause and to restore power.

Just before 1 p.m., Idaho Power reported that power had been restored to all but 53 customers. The areas still affected include Five Mile, Maple Grove and Emerald streets.
