Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State men’s tennis loses to Northwestern

BOISE — The No. 32-ranked Wildcats defeated the No. 46 Broncos 5-2 on Friday at the Boise Racquet & Swim Club. BSU (1-1) won the doubles point with victories from Garrett Patton and Brendan McClain, and Toby Mitchell and Nathan Sereke. McClain also earned the Broncos’ lone singles victory 6-1, 6-4.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Erica Martinez scored a game-high 25 points, and the Coyotes (8-8, 5-3 Cascade Conference) never trailed in a 73-56 win over Corban in Caldwell.

C OF I MEN’S BASKETBALL: The Coyotes topped Corban 76-71 in Caldwell.
