Sam Hunter's new play "A Great Wilderness" opens for previews at Seattle Repertory Theatre. Hunter's play explores issues of homosexuality with the humor and gentle humanity that resonates in all of his work thus far. Hunter grew up in Moscow and now lives in New York City, where he has been making a name for himself on the national theater scene. In 2011, Hunter won an Obie Award - an annual, off-Broadway honor given by the Village Voice - for "A Bright New Boise."
