J.D. Byrider used car dealership coming to Garden City

The lot at 3880 W. Chinden Blvd. will be the first location in Idaho for one of the nation's largest used car dealerships.

The owner of the Garden City franchise, Jim Chalfant is a co-owner of Edmark Superstore in Nampa and Volkswagen Audi Boise. The dealership will have between 15 and 20 employees.

The new dealership will cover 6,000 square feet and offer used car sales and service. Car sales will come with a 36-month, 36,000-mile service agreement.

J.D. Byrider is headquartered in Carmel, Ind., and has 132 franchised and 23 company-owned dealerships in 33 states.
