Boise State men’s tennis opens season at home Thursday

BOISE — The Broncos, ranked No. 46 in the nation, will host Montana State at 6 p.m. at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. The Bobcats are coached by former Boise State assistant Jared Burnham, who is in his first year at the school. On Friday, the Broncos will face No. 32 Northwestern at 1 p.m. at the Boise Racquet & Swim Club. BSU is the defending Mountain West champion and opens the season with four players ranked in the ITA Mountain Region — No. 3 Andy Bettles, No. 9 Thomas Tenreiro, No. 10 Garrett Patton and No. 14 Brendan McClain.
