Gillespie joins Evans mortgage center

Rick Gillespie has been hired as a mortgage loan officer at the D.L. Evans Bank Boise Mortgage Center.

Gillespie holds a bachelor's degree in business and finance from Montana State University. He has 10 years of experience in the mortgage lending and real estate industries.

Rivera hired, Barnard promoted at Cascades

Enrique Rivera is the new manager for Bank of the Cascades' main branch in Nampa. Rhonda Barnard, formerly a loan assistant for Garden City branch, has been promoted to mortgage loan officer for the El Dorado branch.

Rivera has 10 years of banking and management experience. He formerly served as branch manager for Idaho Central Credit Union. He serves on the board of the Community Council of Idaho.

Barnard has more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience in Oregon at Eastbank Mortgage branches in Clackamas and Portland.

Les Bois Credit Union hires Christensen

Andrea Christensen has joined Les Bois Credit Union and Galileo Financial Advisors as the new financial adviser for Les Bois Financial Services.

Most recently, Christensen helped individuals and families develop comprehensive wealth-management plans while working for Prudential Financial in Salt Lake City. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and is an independent advisor representative of Galileo Financial Advisors.

Lundgren joinsAllegis Partners

Alex Lundgren is a new in-house retirement specialist at Allegis Financial Partners.

She brings 20 years of experience in the retirement plan industry working with investments, plan design concerns, compliance and employee education.

Lundgren will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships with employer-sponsored retirement plans. She will also be a resource on defined contribution plans for all advisers at Allegis Financial Partners.

Lundgren's community involvements include Girls on the Run and Operation Write Home.

Eagle adviser earns investment credential

Matt Shannahan of Idaho Financial Group in Eagle has received the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies.

The designation signifies specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care.

Shannahan, a Boise resident, is the president and financial adviser for Idaho Financial Group.
