Trader Joe's fans in the Treasure Valley won't have to wait much longer for Idaho's first store.

The company said Tuesday that its store in Downtown Boise on the corner of Front Street and South Capitol Boulevard will open Feb. 28.

Trader Joe's is now taking applications for employment. Apply in person on-site at 300 S. Capitol Blvd., from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Click here to download an application.

The 11,000-square-foot store will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Residents of the Boise area may see copies of a Trader Joe's publication arrive in their mailboxes after the store opens, the company said. The "Fearless Flyer" publication advertises Trader Joe's products, including 2,000-plus private-label items.

Trader Joe's is a national chain that started in 1958 in California. It has more than 400 stores in 36 states.
