University of Idaho gallery offers trip back through 125 years

Remember when the University of Idaho’s Kibbie Dome was under construction? If you don’t, U of I has a picture.

Or the Administration Building before it was surrounded by a bunch of other buildings? U of I has a photo of that, too.

U of I has released 3,000 images of the school dating back to the late 1880s as part of its 125th anniversary.

The images were digitized by librarians, technicians and students in 2012 and 2013.

Along with the photos, U of I has a mobile version of its site that allows smartphone users to look for images near their current location.

To see the collection, go to http://www.lib.uidaho.edu/digital/campus/.
