Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State wrestling picks up win on the road

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Broncos wrapped out a three-dual road trip with a 35-6 victory over Cal Poly on Sunday. Cody Dixon (197 pounds) and J.T. Felix (285) recorded back-to-back pins in 1 minute, 14 seconds and 1:12, respectively. BSU also received decisions from Holden Packard (157), Steven Hernandez (165) and Rami Haddadin (125), and major decisions from Jake Swartz (184) and Travis Himmelman (141). The Broncos (2-3, 2-2 Pac-12) finished the trip 1-2 after losses to Stanford and Cal State Bakersfield. They will host North Dakota State at 7 p.m. Friday at Taco Bell Arena as part of the Beauty and the Beast event with the gymnastics team, which will host Denver and BYU.

BSU DIVING: Ciera Cortney took second in the 3-meter springboard at the Bruin Invitational in Los Angeles.
