Boise’s Sara Studebaker named to U.S. biathlon team

Boise High graduate Sara Studebaker will make her second consecutive Olympic appearance after being named to the 2014 U.S. team.


NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine — Sara Studebaker (Boise High) was named to her second U.S. Olympic biathlon team, the U.S. Biathlon International Competition Committee announced Sunday. Studebaker, a former Bogus Basin Nordic Team member, was 34th in the women’s individual, 45th in sprint and 46th in pursuit in the 2010 Vancouver Games. She was also part of the U.S. relay team that finished 17th. She is in her sixth season of World Cup competition.
