Bayhawks take down Stampede at showcase

RENO — Erie edged Idaho 97-90 at the D-League Showcase on Wednesday despite some strong performances from the Stampede. Dee Bost recorded a triple-double with 15 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Pierre Jackson scored a game-high 28 points, and Kevin Murphy chipped in with 26 for Idaho, which held a 46-43 lead at the half. Jackson leads the league in scoring with 30.1 points per game. The Stampede return home for two games against the Los Angeles D-Fenders at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at CenturyLink Arena.
