Ada County Pet of the Week: Nola the pit bull terrier

January 7, 2014

Nola, 7, is a spayed female, brindle and white, pit bull terrier.

Don't let Nola's age fool you; she has a lot of spunk for an older gal. Nola was surrendered to the shelter when her owner's rental's pet policy changed. She is a loyal, devoted house dog. She is house-trained, loves to play fetch with toys and balls. She does well with older, sturdier children and has lived happily with cats and other dogs her own size.

She has an easy, wash-and-wear coat her manners are already in place.

Nola can be found in kennel 408 (#21140393) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
