Nampa police are seeking the identity of a man who robbed a Nampa beverage and tobacco store Thursday evening.
A thin, younger man described by witnesses as 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-4, wearing jeans and a black-and-white, checkered zip-up hoodie, entered Tobacco Connection store at 323 11th Avenue North at 7 p.m. The man, who was brandishing a black handgun and covered his face, demanded money from the store clerks.
He took an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot northbound, witnesses told police.
It's unknown whether Thursday's robbery is related to one that took place after 5 a.m. Tuesday. A tall, skinny man wearing a black stocking cap and a white bandana covering his face robbed a convenience store in the 200 block of 22nd Avenue South.
That robber showed a knife and a stun gun before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was wearing jeans, a gray hoodie and gray and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects or either crime is asked to call the Nampa Police Department at 468-2257 or the Crime Stoppers hotline at 343-COPS.
