Driver cited, woman uninjured in morning car-pedestrian accident

January 3, 2014

A woman in her 50s was walking across Broadway Avenue at Myrtle in the dark Friday morning when a vehicle hit her, but she was not injured, Boise police report.

The driver, who was heading east on Myrtle about 6:20 a.m., said he didn't see the woman because it was dark. He was cited for failure to yield, which carries a $90 fine, police said.

The woman was transported to a local hospital as a precaution but was uninjured, police said.
