Blazers’ McCollum to make Stampede debut tonight

STATESMAN STAFFJanuary 3, 2014

BOISE — Idaho hosts the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday and Saturday nights at CenturyLink Arena. Guard CJ McCollum was assigned to the Stampede (9-5) by Portland on Wednesday. The 10th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft has been sidelined since fracturing his foot in training camp. He averaged 21.3 points per game in four seasons at Lehigh, and was named the Patriot Player of the Year twice. Rio Grande Valley (12-2) has the best record in the D-League.
