Ada County Pet of the Week: Poinsettia the domestic shorthair cat

December 31, 2013

Poinsettia is a 1-year-old spayed female, solid grey, domestic shorthair cat.

Poinsettia is a lean, lanky beautiful cat that seems to know she is a looker. She has a regal way of behaving that also occasionally is dropped in favor of the silliness that toys bring out in her. Still a young cat, she will likely socialize well into just about any home environment. Poinsettia is litter-box-trained and keeps her coats well-groomed and shiny.

Poinsettia can be found at the Idaho Humane Society PetSmart Adoption Center (#21649599) at 130 N. Milwaukee in Boise. The center is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. And Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Idaho Humane Society Shelter, Adoption Center and Veterinary Medical Center will be closing at 3 p.m. on Tuesday and will be closed all day on Wednesday. Regular hours resume on Thursday.
