Armed robber makes off with prescription meds from Boise pharmacy

A masked man carrying a handgun walked into a Boise pharmacy and demanded prescription pain killers Sunday, Boise police said.

The robbery occurred at about 7:30 a.m. at a drug store on North 15th and West State streets. The man, who displayed a note and a handgun, fled with an undisclosed amount of prescription medicine.

The suspect was described as light-skinned, 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, black hoodie and dark clothing. He was last seen traveling west on Jefferson Street in a dark-colored pickup.
