Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State women hold off Cal State Fullerton

BOISE — Miquelle Askew’s double-double led the Broncos to a 66-64 win over the Titans on Sunday afternoon at Taco Bell Arena. Askew recorded career highs for points and rebounds with 23 and 13, respectively, as Boise State closed its nonconference slate with a 5-6 record. Deanna Weaver and Yaiza Rodriguez Ortego each had 12 points and five rebounds for the Broncos. The Titans (3-9) were led by Chante Miles with 18 points. Boise State begins its Mountain West Conference schedule Saturday at Fresno State.
