One Idaho Steelhead goes up, one comes down from AHL

BOISE — Forward Austin Fyten was recalled from Idaho by Oklahoma City. In a separate transaction, defenseman Charlie Dodero was assigned to Idaho by Hartford.

Dodero is in his first professional season, and started the year with the Greenville Road Warriors, appearing in 14 games with two points (both assists) and 22 penalty minutes.

Fyten, a 22-year-old Alberta native, was an ECHL All-Star last season with Idaho after gathering 41 points in 46 games as a rookie.

IDAHO 4, LAS VEGAS 1: Goaltender Pat Nagle turned aside 49-of-50 shots he faced as the Steelheads defeated the Wranglers. Brett Robinson scored two goals to help Idaho improve to 16-9-4 (36 points). Mitch Wahl and David de Kastrozza also scored goals for Idaho.
