Boise State men's basketball loses to No. 14 Iowa State in Diamond Head Classic final

The Boise State men's basketball held a lead for most of the game against No. 14 Iowa State, but the Cyclones scored 10 of the final 16 points to stay unbeaten and win the 2013 Diamond Head Classic championship. Derrick Marks had 23 points to lead the Broncos, while Anthony Drmic had 16.

At halftime, Boise State led Iowa State 34-27. The Broncos were led by Derrick Marks' 10 points. Iowa State, which came into the game scoring 88.9 points per game, was held to 10-of-32 shooting (31.3 percent) in the first half, including 2-of-11 on 3-pointers. Boise State was 14-of-28 from the field.

The Boise State men's basketball team has a big opportunity to pick up a marquee nonconference win in their last game before Mountain West play, taking on No. 14 Iowa State on Wednesday at the Diamond Head Classic.
