Boise State football adds another former Bronco to staff

— New Boise State football coach Bryan Harsin is adding another former Bronco to his staff.

Jeff Pitman, who walked onto the football team in 1988 and eventually earned a starting spot and a scholarship, is returning to the Boise State, a source told the Idaho Statesman. Pitman served as the Broncos' head strength and conditioning coach from 1999 to 2005.

Pitman also coached at Colorado and Western Carolina before joining Harsin's staff at Arkansas State in 2013.

In filling out his staff, Harsin, a former Boise State player, as hired former Broncos Mike Sanford (quarterbacks/offensive coordinator), Marcel Yates (defensive coordinator), Scott Huff (offensive line), Andy Avalos (defense, position group to be announced) and Gerald Alexander (position to be determined).
