Wendy's in Nampa robbed after store closed Saturday night

A man wearing a black ski mask robbed the Wendy's restaurant at 1028 Caldwell Blvd. in Nampa after it had closed Saturday night. Police hope the public can help identify a suspect.

The robbery occurred at about 12:27 a.m. Sunday morning, according to Nampa police. The man in the mask approached a female employee who was outside the business and forced her back into the store. He took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing.

The suspect wore a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and red gloves with a white stripe around the wrist. He was described as being about 5-foot-6 and weighing about 200 pounds. No weapon was seen.

It is unknown which direction the suspect fled.
