Jackson shatters single-game scoring record in Stampede win

Pierre Jackson broke Stampede single-game scoring record.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Pierre Jackson scored 49 points to lead the Idaho Stampede past the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 98-94 on Saturday night and break the team’s scoring mark, previously held by Brian Green with 46 points in 2002-03.

Jackson’s outburst is the highest single-game point total in the NBADL this season.

Idaho (8-0) trailed 29-19 in the first quarter, but bounced back for a 51-49 lead at the half.

The Stampede also got double-doubles from Richard Howell (15 points, 10 rebounds) and Dallas Lauderdale (12 points, 12 rebounds).
