Third Eye Blind revives the 1990s at the Knitting Factory

December 13, 2013

Third Eye Blind performs Dec. 17 at the Knitting Factory.

Back in the last century, modern-rockers Third Eye Blind sold millions of albums behind hits such as the perky anthem "Semi-Charmed Life."

In 2000, the group still had enough momentum to headline what is now called CenturyLink Arena.

Nowadays, they're just hoping to fill the 999-capacity Knitting Factory - "they" meaning singer Stephan Jenkins and the latest hires in his double-digit trail of ex-band members. (OK, the long-time drummer is still there.)

Confession: We're just bitter and whiny because Third Eye Blind refused to do a fast phone interview in advance of this gig.

8 p.m. Dec. 17, Knitting Factory, 416 S. 9th St., Boise. $35. TicketWeb. Opening: Team.
