Missing teen found safe in Boise

December 12, 2013

A citizen tip led police to a 15-year-old girl who had been missing since Nov. 16.

Anastasia Rogers was found in Boise on Wednesday night, the same day Meridian Police released a description and urged the public to keep an eye out for her.

It worked. Officers received a tip about the girl's whereabouts shortly after asking for the community's help.

Authorities believe Rogers ran away from home. The teen has run away before, but not for an extended period of time.

Rogers is now back at home and safe, police said.
