Boise police late Wednesday were searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at a convenience store.

Police said a man pointed a gun at a clerk at the store — located at Nez Perce and Roosevelt streets — and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was last seen on foot heading southbound on Roosevelt Street.

Officers responded to the call at 9:43 p.m.

Then suspect was described as light-skinned, possibly in his late teens to early 20s with a slim build and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He appeared to have sandy colored hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a white bandana on his face, a red hooded sweatshirt and was carrying what looked like a black handgun.

Anyone who may have information about the robbery is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
