Deputies search for gun-toting robber

December 4, 2013

— A man who robbed a Boise convenience store early Wednesday is still on the loose, according to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.

The Maverik at 3080 Five Mile Road was robbed at about 1 a.m. The suspect, who carried a gun, is described as a white male about 20 years old. He is 5’11 and about 120 pounds, with brown eyes. The suspect wore a gray and black plaid hoodie with a gray mask pulled up over his face.

In a surveillance video released by the Ada County Sheriff's Office, the man can be heard demanding cash.

"Give me the money," he said in the video. "Cash register, right now."

It was not immediately clear how much money the robber escaped with.

The same store was robbed Nov. 22 by a man wearing a ski mask and brandishing a knife. Randy Donald Siegfried Jr., 24, and Brandi Lee Fain, 32, were arrested later that morning and charged with felony robbery.

Anyone with information about this morning’s robbery should contact the sheriff’s office or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
