Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State tennis coach leads national team to victory

The USA National Collegiate team won its third straight World University Team Championship team in Aix en Provence, France, with a 7-0 victory over Russia in Sunday's championships. The USA team also defeated Ireland 6-1 and France 6-1 in competition last week. BSU men's coach Greg Patton has coached the USA team since 2009 and is 14-1 in international play. He has led the team to four world championships, also taking the title in 2009, 2011 and 2012. In 2010, the USA lost to France in the finals.

IDAHO STATE VOLLEYBALL: The Bengals (23-11) will open the NCAA Tournament at 11th-seeded Hawaii (24-4) at 10:30 p.m. MT Friday.
