It's going to rain in Boise Monday but not much and not for long, according to the National Weather Service. Whatever sprinkles we get should be over by mid-afternoon.
Sunday was overcast and wet, with about .17 inches of rain recorded at the Boise Airport by 6 p.m. A trace was recorded Saturday.
A cold front out of Alaska will knock temperatures way down Monday evening. The high and low temperatures Tuesday will be in the 20s, about 15 degrees below normal.
That's going to feel pretty chilly after a weekend of highs near 50. The high Friday was 49, and Sunday hit 47.
The coldest morning of the week is expected to be Thursday, when temperatures could dip as low as 11.
