Shots fired in Nampa drive-by; no injuries

November 30, 2013

No one was injured, police reported, after neighbors said several shots were fired into an empty car Friday night and they heard a vehicle fleeing the scene in the 200 block of High Street.

The shooting took place at about 10:45 p.m., Nampa police said. Several empty shells casings were found in the street.

None of the bullets struck any homes in the neighborhood. The damage was apparently confined to the parked car.

No one was able to provide a description of the suspect vehicle, Nampa police Sgt. Tim Randall said.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Nampa police at 465-2257 or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
