Sockeye eyes expansion

Boise - The Idaho StatesmanNovember 29, 2013

Sockeye Brewery is asking the Boise City Council to allow it to put a 14,000-square-foot building on a three-acre parcel north of Fairview Avenue west of Cloverdale Road.

The brewery would use the building as a sales office and wholesale center, according to a letter to the city's Planning and Zoning Commission. Its hours of operation would be between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. A 48-foot truck would be scheduled to arrive each Monday to ship out finished product. Smaller trucks would come and go throughout the week.

In addition to office space, the building would have pallet storage for canning supplies, keg filling and cleaning, product canning and cold storage.
