Two injured in overnight rollover

November 29, 2013

— Two Twin Falls men were injured early Friday morning after rolling their car in Nampa.

Police say the men crashed at about 1:35 a.m. near the intersection of Robinson and East Franklin roads. The men were heading west on East Franklin Road when the car swerved off the roadway and rolled several times, coming to rest in a field.

The driver, a 33-year-old man, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled, sustaining a serious head injury. The 39-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries and was able to call 911 after the crash.

Both men were taken to local hospitals, and their names have not been released. The wreck is still under investigation, but police say alcohol is thought to be a factor.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Nampa Police Sgt. Matt Pavelek at 468-5608 or Nampa Police dispatch at 465-2257.
