THANKSGIVING DAY BIKE RIDE

Rolling H Cycles in Nampa is sponsoring its third annual Thanksgiving Day event. There will be two riding groups to accommodate cyclists of all abilities. One group will ride 10 to 15 miles at 10 to 15 mph and another group will ride 20 to 25 miles at varied speeds. Riders will start gathering at the shop at 115 13th Ave. S. around 9:15 a.m., Nov. 28, and then take off at 9:30 a.m. For information, email rollinghcycles@gmail.com.

EAGLE BIKE PARK FUNDRAISER

Boise Area Mountain Biking Association is showing the new Anthill mountain bike film “Arrival” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Northgate Reel Theater at 6950 West State St. in Boise. Admission is $7 adults and $5 for kids 12 or younger. The funds will be used to buy trail-building tools and equipment for the Eagle Bike Park. See a preview of the film at anthillfilms.com.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center will have 5-, 20- or 40-pound bags, including sunflower, cracked corn, millet with safflower and Nyjer thistle. Kids can make take-home bird feeders in the auditorium from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

IDAHO CYCLOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The state championships will be Dec. 14 at the Eagle Bike Park, with racing starting at 11 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m. A food truck rally is also scheduled during the races. The Kringle Kross Race will be Dec. 15 at the park with the same starting and ending times. New, unwrapped toys will be collected for the Treasure Valley Salvation Army at the races.
